Overview
Key Features
Added
- Expanded the Remote MCP Server with tools to trigger a connector, requeue a message, clean up files, and find service logs, and expanded the
diagnose_messagetool. - Added a Diagnose this error button to the transaction detail view that triggers an AI-powered analysis of a failed transaction using the configured AI provider.
- Added an Analyze Worker Pool tool to Performance Settings that captures worker pool logs over a chosen time window and uses the configured AI provider to recommend adjustments.
- Added support for external secret providers in the Vault, allowing vault items to be sourced from environment variables and Azure Key Vault (Enterprise tier) in addition to the local vault.
- Added support for vault references in the Cleanup Settings and Additional Settings sections of the global Settings page.
- Added support for per-workspace Git repositories for Version Control, including a repository list in the version control footer and repository filtering in Commit History.
- Added more detailed audit log entries that record which setting changed, along with its previous and new values, across more of Arc’s configuration (connectors, workspaces, users, roles, and more).
- Added a
moveConnectorsAdmin API action that moves a group of connectors to another workspace while preserving the connections between them. - Added a
usersresource and arefreshAPICredentialaction to the Admin API for managing users and regenerating auth tokens and client secrets. - Added a Message Directory setting (
cdata.app.messageDirectoryin Java,MessageDirectoryin .NET) to store message data separately from the Application Directory. - Added Automation Logs to the Activity page, recording scheduled poll attempts including polls that return no data and skipped schedules. Also added Automation Status and Last Processed Result displays to the Automation tab to show whether a connector is running, idle, or suspended, and the outcome of its last run.
- Added connection status indicators (Connected, Warning, Failed, and Not Tested) to the shared connection selector in connector settings.
- Added a Dashboard card showing the number of connectors currently in backoff, with a link to view them in the Connectors list.
- Added a configurable auto-refresh interval to the main Dashboard, set to every 60 seconds by default.
- Added warnings in the UI when the application database approaches its defined record threshold for the configured database type.
- Added application log entries when a connector’s SLA transitions to At Risk or Violated, so monitoring tools can ingest SLA events without relying on email.
- Added a Download Message button to the Message Log message detail view, and made the connector names in the message flow links that open the connector’s settings.
- Added an optional input encoding to the base64encode and hexencode formatters and an optional output encoding to the base64decode and hexdecode formatters, enabling operations such as generating a Base64 GUID with
[guid(false) | base64encode('hex')].
Changed
- Updated all connectors that use CData drivers to use the v26 drivers instead of v25.
- Restricted all Version Control operations, including viewing version control logs, to administrators. Non-administrator users no longer see the Version Control options in the UI.
- Made it easier to convert a Version Control repository from local to remote by switching the configuration type directly in the UI.
- The Version Control diff view now includes a “View with all settings” option that shows unchanged settings alongside the changes.
- Increased the maximum number of files that can be uploaded at once from a connector’s Transactions page from 99 to 256. Uploads over the limit are now blocked with a message stating the maximum.
- Removed the previously deprecated classic Activity page, classic flow designer, and classic Reports UI.
- Added memory protection for XML processing in the XML Map, Branch, Validate, and Email Send connectors, which now log a warning, or reject the message, when an input is too large to safely load into memory.
- Clarified the next steps shown after migrating the Application Database on .NET, including the
AppDbconnection string entry to add toWeb.config. - The
$selectparameter on the Admin APIconnectorsresource now returns connector-specific properties, such asas2identifier, when using the@jsonresponse format.
Fixed
- Fixed an issue with the default Trusted IPs setting for the Form and TCP Server connectors.
- Fixed vault references not being available in workspace settings.
- Fixed an issue where importing Vault items from an .arc file assigned them new Ids, which caused settings pulled in through Version Control to lose their Vault references.
- Fixed an issue where some configuration was not preserved when generating the
arc.xmlfile for Java installations. - Fixed an issue in the Admin API where an unparenthesized
notin a$filterexpression applied to the rest of the expression, causing incorrect results. - Fixed an issue where the Admin API
reportsresource ignored$filterin$countrequests. - Fixed the
$orderbyparameter being ignored for the Admin APIconnectorsresource. - Fixed an issue where importing a connector over an existing one did not clear settings that were empty in the imported file.
- Fixed an issue on case-sensitive file systems where certificates with names that differ only by case were not all available in connector certificate selectors.
- Fixed the Java installer and upgrade script not reading the
cdata.app.directoryvalue fromarc.propertieswhen it contained spaces, quotes, or escaped backslashes. - Fixed an issue where a failed push during Commit and Push in Version Control could remove local changes from the workspace.
Connectors
Added
- Added a Microsoft 365 Email connector, built on the CData Microsoft 365 driver, that sends and receives email through the Microsoft Graph API with support for app-only authentication to shared mailboxes.
- Added a Partner Mailbox connector that gives trading partners a self-service web portal to download files staged for them and upload files to send.
- Added a Finalize connector, along with deferred finalization in the File connector, that delays post-processing actions such as deleting or moving source files until downstream processing succeeds.
- Added an Output Behavior setting and a Response Event to the SOAP connector.
- Added an Encryption Algorithms setting to the SFTP Server connector’s profile for specifying the allowed encryption algorithms.
- Added the ability to compare a value against another XPath, header, or variable in the XML Map connector’s Condition Editor.
- Added support for XML lookahead syntax in the Lookup action of Database and other data-type connectors.
- Added a Root Element Name setting to the Excel connector to override the sheet name used as the root element of the output.
- Added a Sheet Names setting to the Excel connector’s Advanced Settings, available in Table mode, to specify which sheets in a workbook produce output. Leaving the setting empty outputs all sheets.
- Added the remote path of the uploaded blob as an input to the Azure Blob connector’s AfterSend event.
- Added a FileId input to the Box connector’s AfterSend event.
- Added a Log MDNs setting to the AS2 connector that keeps a copy of each MDN receipt regardless of the Log Level. The setting is enabled by default and can be turned off.
- Added an Incoming Headers setting to the Webhook connector to promote specified incoming HTTP headers as message headers.
- Added the ability to customize AI prompts for Database and data-type connectors that use AI-assisted mapping.
- Added support for BatchGroups as input to the File and S3 connectors, along with new ArcScript operations for working with BatchGroups.
- Added a confirmation prompt in the XSD connector when an uploaded file would overwrite an existing XSD file.
Changed
- The File connector now receives files in ascending last-modified order.
- The AS2 connector now signs the MDN with the Rollover Private Certificate when that certificate was the one that decrypted the inbound message, removing the need to configure an Alternate Local Profile on each connector during certificate rollover.
- Certificate settings, such as SSL client certificates, in Application and Database connectors can now use certificates managed in Arc. Existing certificate settings continue to work.
- Improved upload performance for the Box connector, especially when uploading to nested folders, by caching folder Ids so Arc makes fewer API calls to Box.
- Updated the Shopify connector for the v26 driver, which removed the REST schema. Connections using an unsupported schema now fail with an error until switched to a supported schema.
- The Catalog setting is now required for Databricks connections. Existing connections without a Catalog value must set one after upgrading.
- Odoo connections now require an API key in the API Token setting. The v26 Odoo driver no longer accepts a password in this field, so existing connections that use a password must be updated to use an API key.
- The TPMC now automatically enables Return inbound functional acknowledgements on a partner’s EDI connector when a 997 or 999 Incoming Document is added, and disables it when removed, so received acknowledgements are routed to the Incoming Documents destination.
- Updated the OpenSSL libraries used by the Apache Kafka connector to version 3.6.4 to address security vulnerabilities.
Fixed
- Fixed the ZUGFeRD connector failing with “Unsupported version: 2.1” on .NET servers that use a comma as the decimal separator.
- Fixed intermittent SFTP download failures with the error “1098 - Invalid SSH packet length” when connecting to servers that use random padding.
- Fixed an issue where the certificate configured in a connection used by the AS4 connector was not included when exporting the connector.
- Fixed an issue where retrying a failed send in the SAP IDoc connector re-sent IDocs from the file that had already been posted to SAP. Retries now resume after the last IDoc sent successfully.
