# Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

> Answers to common questions about CData Arc Cloud features and technical parameters.

This page provides answers to common questions about features and technical parameters of CData Arc Cloud.

#### What static IP addresses does Arc Cloud use?

Arc Cloud uses a range of static IP addresses to communicate with external data sources. To ensure that Arc Cloud can reach external servers in more restricted environments, you might need to whitelist the following static IP addresses.

| Region | IP Addresses (CIDR) | IP Addresses (Range) |
| - | - | - |
| US East | 52.190.59.200/29 | 52.190.59.200 - 52.190.59.207 |
| Germany West Central | 4.184.63.64/28 | 4.184.63.64 - 4.184.63.79 |

#### What is the default script hardening level in Arc Cloud?

Arc Cloud instances use a default script hardening level of 1. Self-hosted installations default to level 0, so scripts that rely on behaviors restricted at level 1 might need to be adjusted when migrating to Arc Cloud. For more information on hardening levels and what each one restricts, see [Hardening Server Security Settings](https://docs.arc.cdata.com/26.4/cloud/en/getting-started/administration/security-best-practices.md#hardening-server-security-settings). To adjust the hardening level in your Arc Cloud implementation, contact **[arcsupport@cdata.com](mailto:arcsupport@cdata.com)**.

#### How can I enable SFTP Server or OFTP Server support in my instance?

For security reasons, the ports for [SFTP Server](https://docs.arc.cdata.com/26.4/cloud/en/connectors/sftp-server.md) and [OFTP Server](https://docs.arc.cdata.com/26.4/cloud/en/connectors/oftp.md) are not enabled by default. To request that one or both of these servers be enabled for your instance, please reach out to **[arcsupport@cdata.com](mailto:arcsupport@cdata.com)**.

> [!NOTE]
>
> When the SFTP Server port is exposed, it is on port 2222.

#### Is it possible to change the time zone that the server uses?

Yes, please reach out to **[arcsupport@cdata.com](mailto:arcsupport@cdata.com)** to request that a different time zone be configured for your instance.

#### Is there a maximum cleanup interval in Arc Cloud?

Yes, Arc Cloud instances enforce a maximum cleanup interval of 7 days. If you require a different retention configuration for your use case, please reach out to **[arcsupport@cdata.com](mailto:arcsupport@cdata.com)**.

#### Is there a storage limit for Arc Cloud instances?

Yes, your storage allocation depends on your license tier: Standard is 100GB, Professional is 150GB, and Enterprise is 200GB. You can purchase additional storage if necessary. Contact **[arcsales@cdata.com](mailto:arcsales@cdata.com)** for information.

#### Which connectors are not available in Arc Cloud?

A few connectors in the on-premise version of Arc are not available in Arc Cloud. These are:

* API
* Database
* CData
* File
* FTP Server
* HL7 MLLP
* TCP Server

#### What infrastructure and disaster recovery processes are in place for Arc Cloud?

All Arc Cloud instances run in a clustered environment with 2 nodes for high availability. Arc Cloud automatically performs periodic backups of the disk and database to support disaster recovery. If you have questions about backup policies or recovery objectives, please reach out to **[arcsupport@cdata.com](mailto:arcsupport@cdata.com)**.

#### Are there currently any known Arc Cloud service outages?

The Arc Cloud [Status page](https://status.cdata.com/) shows the current status and incident history for the application services.

#### How do I contact CData Technical Support?

The [CData Arc Technical Support](https://arc.cdata.com/support/submit.aspx) contact form allows you to send a message to our Technical Support team. Alternatively, you can email **[arcsupport@cdata.com](mailto:arcsupport@cdata.com)** and a member of the team will respond.
