You can define incoming and outgoing workflows without a document mapping in the TPMC. For example, you might have a workflow where the document destination is a local disk. When you choose the destination connector, choose the [File connector](../connectors/file). See [Select and Configure the Source or Destination Connector](./edi-mapping#select-and-configure-the-source-or-destination) for detailed instructions. Because there is no mapping component for connectors that use unstructured information, there is no **Action** tab in the connector configuration pane. When you choose the connector, you are taken directly to the **Settings** tab.
