# Security

> Overview of security configuration options in CData Arc, including SSO, sign-in settings, network access, Admin API, and proxy settings.

The **Security** tab holds several categories of security-related configuration options, each of which has its own documentation topic:

* [Single Sign-On (SSO) and User Provisioning](./single-sign-on) covers options for configuring single sign-on via SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect authentication protocols, including integration with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.
* [Sign In Settings](./sign-in-settings) options allow you to define global authentication requirements, password policies, and user account security measures including two-factor authentication and inactivity timeouts.
* [Network Access](./network-access) options control IP-based access restrictions and provide additional security layers by managing trusted and banned IP ranges for protected resources.
* [Admin API Options](./admin-api-settings) covers Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) settings and authentication token configuration for browser-based clients and API access.
* [Proxy Settings](./proxy-settings) options enable you to configure global inbound and outbound proxy settings for network traffic routing and security.
